Composer: Freeman Tasoulla Christou studied piano at the National Conservatoire of Greece in Nicosia, and then in England with professors at the Royal Academy of Music. She later turned to composition, obtaining degrees from London and Middlesex Universities. Her compositions have been performed in London and other venues in Europe, the USA, Africa and Asia. In 2015 she was awarded the Miriam Gideon Prize for New Music by the International Alliance for Women in Music, based in the USA. In 2016 she became a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Musicians.
Flautist: Yeoman Adrienn Kantor - prize winner of the New York Flute Club’s Competition, the Bard Conservatory’s Concerto Competition, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Concerto Competition, and the John MacGregor Flute Prize at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She received the Worshipful Company of Musicians Silver Medal in 2015, and joined the Company’s Yeomen Programme in January 2016.
Pianist: Yeoman Ke Ma - winner of the Worshipful Company of Musicians prestigious Prince’s Prize and a Maisie Lewis Young Artists Fund concert. She recently won the first prize in the 18th Concours International de Piano de la ville de Maisons-Lafitte. She joined the Company’s Yeoman Programme in February 2016.
Soprano: Katerina Mina - graduated from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama with full scholarships from the Corporation of London and the A.G. Leventis Foundation. She was a prize winner at the “Julián Gayarre International Singing Competition” in Spain and the “Consorso Vocale Internationale di Musica Sacra” in Italy.
